Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pebble mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). In these Terms, "Pebble", "we" and "us" refer to the provider of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Your account

You need an account to use Pebble. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.

2. Subscriptions, trials and billing

• Pebble offers a free trial and paid subscription. Access to certain features requires an active subscription.
• Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their terms. We do not process or store your payment details.
• Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Deleting your Pebble account does not automatically cancel a store subscription — cancel it separately through the store.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you add — your dog's information, photos, documents and diary entries ("Your Content"). You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, back up and display Your Content to you in order to operate the Service. We do not claim ownership of it and will not use it for advertising.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: breaking the law; uploading content you have no right to; attempting to access other users' data; reverse-engineering, disrupting or overloading the Service; or using it to store material that is unlawful or infringing.

5. Not veterinary advice

Pebble is a record-keeping and organisation tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical or professional advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your dog's health. Reminders are a convenience and should not be solely relied upon for time-critical care.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Pebble is local-first, so your data remains on your device even if cloud sync is temporarily unavailable. We may update, change or discontinue features over time.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will meet your requirements or be free of errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pebble will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law grants you rights in your own country.
